Did you catch the American Idol finals last year between Taylor Hicks and Catherine What’s Her Name? Who won? The one with the best voice? Or the one with the most personality?
I’m gon na inform you a secret, something no one ever tells entrepreneurs. It’s not about being the very best! It never ever was. So many business owners waste their time and cash bragging about being the finest. “We offer the very best doohickeys …” “We offer the very best client service …” ‘
It’s dopey to extol being the best! 해외축구중계 Why? ‘Cause
1. Everyone states it.
2. It’s probably not true.
3. We do not believe you anyhow
However do not fret about it, ’cause
4. We’re not always looking for the best.
Are they the best? Not 30 years earlier when the tune came out and definitely not now. In some way a geriatric Rod got to wiggle his assets on American Idol along with Taylor Hicks!
The “It” Factor
In showbiz, there’s an expression “You’ve got ‘it’.” What’s “it”?
The factor they call it “it” is since it’s tough to put it into words. It’s got something to do with charm, magnetism, the power to hold an audience and draw in. Frankly, Rod Stewart never ever did it for me, but Elvis definitely had “it”.
Gain Access To Your Inner Elvis
I just saw a movie about Elvis’ life. Why are people so captivated by Elvis? Why are they still telling me “Tsufit, I just saw Elvis at a corner store!” when he died prior to Britney Spears was born? Why? Due to the fact that a personality that huge never passes away.
Why was the person such a star? Was it his appearance, his personality, his voice, his music? It’s probably all of those things– together with this wonderful thing called “it”, but even with Elvis, it took him a while to find his inner “it”.
In the film, a docu-drama (or shlock-u-drama), Elvis strolls into Sun Records, a little Memphis recording studio, to sing for Sam Phillips. Elvis sings like Bill Monroe; he sings like Bing Crosby; he sings like yesterday’s news. Just another singer. A dime a dozen.
It wasn’t a quickie, even for Elvis, to discover his initial voice. Ultimately he did discover it.
What’s this got to finish with business owners? Whatever!
You got ta discover your initial voice. You got ta gain access to your Inner Elvis!
Do that and enjoy your star shine.
